Comparison of the PoMTP in sequence database showed no significant homology with functionally known metalloproteases of Armillaria mellea, Grifola frondosa, Lentinula edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus, Schizophyllum commune and Tricholoma saponaceum in mushroom.
