Abstract

Lentinula edodes secretes laccase (Lcc: EC 1.10.3.2), an industrially useful enzyme. In this study, we introduced and expressed the L. edodes Lcc gene, lcc1, driven by L. edodes glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase gene promoter into L.edodes.
