Abstract

The invention relates to the use of polysaccharides of Grifola frondosa in preparing drugs for controlling viral diseases in pigs, particularly to the use for controlling porcine rotavirus enteritis, porcine epidemic diarrhea and porcine transmissible gastroenteritis. For use, polysaccharides of Grifola frondosa are injected intramuscularly at a dose of 1.0-50 mg/kg, twice daily or mixed uniformly with a premix feed at a weight percentage of 0.1-10%. The premix feed is commercially available and pigs are fed ad libitum. The invention has the advantages that: the invention provide a new natural medicine for controlling viral diseases in pigs and improving porcine immunity in clinic the natural medicine has high safety, definite effectiveness and controllable quality and the natural medicine has easily-accessible raw materials, no toxicity and side effect and no risk of inducing drug resistance.
