Abstract

The invention relates to a drug for treating beri-beri which is characterized in that the drug is prepared by the following raw materials by parts by weight: 5-7 parts of pangolin scales, 5-7 parts of tremella fuciformis dried product, 6-8 parts of bletilla striata, 7-8 parts of golden thread, 15-20 parts of borneol, 10-12 parts of Szechuan lovage rhizome, 3-5 parts of plant ash, 2-5 parts of cicada slough, 4-6 parts of holly leaf fresh product, 2-4 parts of natural indigo, 3-5 parts of siberian cocklebur herb dried product, 8-10 parts of manchurian wildginger, 6-9 parts of densefruit pittany root-bark, 10-12 parts of lightyellow sophora root, 8-10 parts of fennel fruit, 5-7 parts of yanhusuo, 3-5 parts of myrrh, 6-8 parts of Chinese angelica, 5-7 parts of trogopterus dung, 10-12 parts of white vinegar, 5-10 parts of garlic and 15-20 parts of common salt. The drug has the advantages that the drug can rapidly relieve the itch and the pain, rapidly heal the wound and be effective by 1-2 times, patients with the moderate beri-beri can be healed in 6 days, the patients with the severe beri-beri can be healed in 30 days, and the drug has no side effects, good efficacy, rapid onset of action, ability of radically curing the beri-beri, difficult recurrence, no complications or sequelae and low cost.
