The invention relates to a Chinese medicinal preparation for treating prostate gland hyperplasia which is prepared from poria cocos, cogongrass rhizome, polyporus umbellatus, plantain seeds, zedoary, lychee seed, oldenlandia, barbat skullcap, hairy vein agrimony, Bupleurum root, coix seed and seed of cowherb.
