Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a method with which a new lectin can be collected from Grifola frondosa and easily purified.

SOLUTION: After stored at a freezing temperature, collected Grifola frondosa is thawed and allowed to stand at a refrigerating temperature. The obtained leach liquor is purified to obtain a new lectin useful as a reagent or a medicine.
