Abstract

Provided is a method of eliminating a virus of virus-infected oyster mushrooms(Pleurotus ostreatus) by subculturing a hypha of the oyster mushrooms in a culture medium containing cAMP in a light-shielded aseptic chamber 5 times. The method can easily eliminate the virus of virus-infected oyster mushrooms at low cost. The elimination of a virus of virus-infected oyster mushrooms is achieved by the steps of: culturing a hypha of the oyster mushrooms subculturing the hypha in a culture medium containing cAMP in a light-shielded aseptic chamber of 25deg.C 5 times and examining whether the virus is eliminated or not by virus testing through PCR against TAS-ELISA, RT-PCR and 18s Ribosomal RNA gene. The oyster mushrooms contain Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus eryngii. The virus of virus-infected oyster mushrooms is an RNA virus.
