Abstract

An apparatus for cutting the root of king oyster mushroom is provided to enhance the value of a king oyster mushroom product, reduce work time, and improve users' convenience. An apparatus for cutting the root of king oyster mushroom comprises: a main body(110) a shaft(120) rotated by a driving device(130) and a cutting member(200) installed at one or both sides of the shaft to cut the root of king oyster mushroom. The cutting member comprises: a cutting body an inserting groove which is placed at the lower part of the cutting body so as to insert the root of king oyster mushroom into the cutting body a side-exposing hole which is placed at one side of the cutting body so as to expose the side of the inserted king oyster mushroom to the outside of the cutting body and a bottom-exposing hole which is placed at the other side of the cutting body to expose the bottom of the inserted king oyster mushroom to the outside of the cutting body. The side-exposing hole has a side inclined part with a side-cutting blade, and the bottom-exposing hole has a bottom inclined part with a bottom-cutting blade.
