Abstract

PURPOSE: Functional alcoholic liquor comprising an old platycodon extract is provided, which has human health improving activity such as protection of liver and improvement of recognition function.

CONSTITUTION: Functional alcoholic liquor comprises (a) 30 to 40 parts by weight of the old platycodon extract and (b) 60 to 70 parts by weight of the supplement medicinal herb extracts comprising 9 to 11 parts by weight of Polyporus umbellatus FRIES. extract, 9 to 11 parts by weight of ginkgo leaf extract, 5 to 7 parts by weight of Angelica gigas Nakai extract, 4 to 6 parts by weight of Dioscoreae Radix extract, 3 to 5 parts by weight of Gastrodia elata BL. extract, 5 to 7 parts by weight of Cnidium officinale extract, 5 to 7 parts by weight of Polygala tenuifolia extract, 4 to 6 parts by weight of Paeoniae Radix extract, 2 to 4 parts by weight of Poria cocos Wolf. extract, 2 to 4 parts by weight of Atractylodis Rhizoma alba extract, 2 to 4 parts by weight of cinnamon extract, and 3 to 5 parts by weight of Gardenia jasminoides MAKINO extract.
