Abstract
PURPOSE: Provided is a composite anticancer agent containing polysaccharide and adriamycin extracted form Phellinus linteus, thereby reducing adverse side effects of cancer chemotherapy and consequently treating cancer without adverse side effects.
CONSTITUTION: A composite anticancer agent is characterized by containing polysaccharide and adriamycin extracted form Phellinus linteus, wherein the polysaccharide is galactomannoglucan, and the weight ratio of galactomannoglucan to adriamycin is 400-500:1. Therefore, the composite anticancer agent is useful for the treatment of cancers without adverse side effects.
