High relevanceMEDIUM COMPOSITION FOR CULTURING PHELLINUS LINTEUS MYCELIUM
Phellinus linteus
Key points
- PURPOSE: A medium composition for culturing Phellinus linteus mycelium is provided, thereby easily culturing and extracting Phellinus linteus mycelium producing galactomannoglucan, improving the cultivation yield, and reducing the cultivation time and costs
- CONSTITUTION: The medium composition for culturing Phellinus linteus(KCTC 0399BP) mycelium comprises 30 to 100 g, preferably 50 to 80 g of CSP(corn steep powder) or 60 to 200 g, preferably 10 to 160 g of CSL(corn steep liquid), 0.003 to 5 g, preferably 0.05 to 0.8 g of yeast extract, 0.0003 to 0.5 g, 0.005 to 0.08 g of soy peptone and 0.003 to 5 g, preferably 0.05 to 0.8 g of malt extract in 1 liter of distilled water
- The method for culturing Phellinus linteus mycelium in the medium composition comprises the steps of: sterilizing the medium composition for Phellinus linteus mycelium in an autoclave at steam pressure for 50 to 60 minutes and cooling it subculturing the fruit body tissue or pore of Phellinus linteus in the agar medium composition at 15 to 35 deg
- C and inoculating the cultured medium into the broth medium composition and culturing at 15 to 35 deg

Abstract
PURPOSE: A medium composition for culturing Phellinus linteus mycelium is provided, thereby easily culturing and extracting Phellinus linteus mycelium producing galactomannoglucan, improving the cultivation yield, and reducing the cultivation time and costs.
CONSTITUTION: The medium composition for culturing Phellinus linteus(KCTC 0399BP) mycelium comprises 30 to 100 g, preferably 50 to 80 g of CSP(corn steep powder) or 60 to 200 g, preferably 10 to 160 g of CSL(corn steep liquid), 0.003 to 5 g, preferably 0.05 to 0.8 g of yeast extract, 0.0003 to 0.5 g, 0.005 to 0.08 g of soy peptone and 0.003 to 5 g, preferably 0.05 to 0.8 g of malt extract in 1 liter of distilled water. The method for culturing Phellinus linteus mycelium in the medium composition comprises the steps of: sterilizing the medium composition for Phellinus linteus mycelium in an autoclave at steam pressure for 50 to 60 minutes and cooling it subculturing the fruit body tissue or pore of Phellinus linteus in the agar medium composition at 15 to 35 deg. C and inoculating the cultured medium into the broth medium composition and culturing at 15 to 35 deg. C for 50 to 120 days.
