Abstract

PURPOSE: A method of preparing a health beverage using a sponge gourd, pear and balloon flower as a main material, Paecilomyces japonica, ginger, Chinese quince fruits, pomegranate fruits, gingko nuts and the like as a subsidiary material is provided. The product has excellent efficacy on asthma, cold, cough, phlegm and the like.

CONSTITUTION: A main material containing a sponge gourd, pear and balloon flower is mixed with a subsidiary material and yellow sugar in a weight ratio of 60 to 70:20 to 30:10 to 35, fermented at 10 to 25deg.C for 3 to 6 months and squeezed. Then 1kg extract is mixed with 15 to 25kg Phellinus linteus.
