Key points
- A method of growing Pleurotus eryngii(oyster mushroom) by adding ginseng extract in the process containing the production of a culture medium and spraying of nutrient liquid is provided
- A culture medium is added with 0.6% by weight of water, put into a culture bottle, sterilized at 100deg.C for 60min and then cooled
- The cooled culture medium is inoculated with spawn of Pleurotus eryngii, cultured at 23deg.C and allowed to emerge hyphae from the spores after scraping the surface of the spawn to allow air exchange
- The culture medium contains 80% by weight of sawdust, 15% by weight of rice bran and 4.4% by weight of ginseng extract
- During the spraying process, diluted ginseng extract containing 60% by weight of water and 40% by weight of ginseng extract is used
- Diluted ginseng extract containing 70% by weight of water and 30% by weight of ginseng extract is also sprayed on the Pleurotus eryngii from the growing step to a harvesting step

Abstract
A method of growing Pleurotus eryngii(oyster mushroom) by adding ginseng extract in the process containing the production of a culture medium and spraying of nutrient liquid is provided. The mushroom has the efficacy of ginseng. A culture medium is added with 0.6% by weight of water, put into a culture bottle, sterilized at 100deg.C for 60min and then cooled. The cooled culture medium is inoculated with spawn of Pleurotus eryngii, cultured at 23deg.C and allowed to emerge hyphae from the spores after scraping the surface of the spawn to allow air exchange. The culture medium contains 80% by weight of sawdust, 15% by weight of rice bran and 4.4% by weight of ginseng extract. During the spraying process, diluted ginseng extract containing 60% by weight of water and 40% by weight of ginseng extract is used. Diluted ginseng extract containing 70% by weight of water and 30% by weight of ginseng extract is also sprayed on the Pleurotus eryngii from the growing step to a harvesting step.
