Abstract

A method of manufacturing a functional herbal drink by heating herbs is provided, which has an effect of preventing a respiratory disease such as a cold, cough, asthma and the like. To make the titled drink, herbs are heated with 18,039L purified water over medium heat for 4hr. The herbs contain 300g Rehmannia root, 200g Citrus unshiu peel, 300g Platycodon root, 200g Ostericum koreanum root, 200g Atractylodes root, 200g Amomi Semen, 150g plum seed, 150g Fritillaria root, 150g pine tree root, 150g Schizandra seed, 150g Pinellia root, 150g Viscum album seed, 100g orange peel, 150g ginger root, 300g pears, 10g Phellinus linteus and 400g Licorice root.
