A BEVERAGE USING HERICIUM ERINACEUS EXTRACTS CONTAINING HERB MEDICINE COMPONENTS AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS OF THE SAME

Abstract

A method of manufacturing a beverage by aging an extract of Hericium Erinaceus and an herbal extract in an agitation tank is provided to obtain beverage having pharmacological actions of components such as anti-diabetic effect, rejuvenating and strengthening effect and anti-osteoporosis effect without the off-flavor of Hericium Erinaceus. First, 40 to 50% by weight of Hericium Erinaceus extract and herbal extract are agitated in an agitation tank of 40 to 50deg.C for 4 or 5hr and aged in the agitation tank at 25 to 35deg.C for 8 to 10hr in the first step and at 15 to 25deg.C for 10 to 12hr in the second step. Then, the extract is mixed with 8 to 12% by weight of purified water, added with sugar and heated at 65 to 75deg.C for 7 to 10min. The herbal extract contains 3 to 5% by weight of Angelica Root extract, 1 to 3% by weight of Licorice Root extract, 5 to 10% by weight of Cassia Seed extract, 8 to 13% by weight of Cinnamomi Cortex extract, 4 to 5% by weight of Ginger Root extract, 3 to 5% by weight of Dioscorea Tuber extract and 1 to 3% by weight of ginger extract.
