Abstract
A method of artificially cultivating oyster mushroom(Pleurotus ostreatus) by addition of an extract, culture, meal or concentrate of tissue-cultured wild ginseng root during the cultivation of mushroom is provided. The method provides useful components such as saponin to mushroom and is environmentally friendly. During the artificial cultivation of mushroom, a tissue-cultured wild ginseng root extract, tissue-cultured wild ginseng root culture, tissue-cultured wild ginseng root meal or tissue-cultured wild ginseng root concentrate is added along with sawdust, cottonseed meal and beet pulp. The mushroom is Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammulina velutipes, Lentinus lepideus, Pleurotus eryngii and Lentinus edodes.
