A HOT CEREAL USING WILD GINSENG AND A MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

Abstract

Hot cereal using cultured wild ginseng roots and a preparation method thereof are provided to allow effective ingredients of both medicinal herbs and the cultured wild ginseng roots to be absorbed into the hot cereal, and to reduce the peculiar smell of chicken without using garlic or ginger. Hot cereal using cultured wild ginseng roots is prepared by the steps of: putting 10~20wt% of Phellinus linteus, 10~20wt% of Pleuropterus multflorus, 10~20wt% of lotus seeds, and 10~20wt% of Gastrodia elata into water, based on the total weight of medicinal herbs, and boiling them to obtain a medicinal herb extract mixing glutinous rice and nonglutinous rice, and soaking the mixed rice in water and putting 45~50wt% of the mixed and soaked rice, a chicken of which the guts, feet, and head are removed, and 8~15wt% of cultured wild ginseng roots into the extract, based on the total weight of all the ingredients except the medicinal herbs, and then boiling them.
