Abstract

A poultry raising method using Scutellaria baicallensis Georgi is provided to produce high-quality poultry meat/egg having no peculiar smell, a reduced cholesterol content, and an increased mineral content. A poultry raising method using Scutellaria baicallensis Georgi comprises the steps of: (a) drying Scutellaria baicallensis Georgi for its water content to be less than 10%, and grinding it to 10~40mum (b) drying coral for its water content to be less than 5%, and grinding it to 1~8mum (c) drying Phellinus linteus for its water content to be less than 5%, and grinding it to 2~8mum (d) mixing Scutellaria baicallensis Georgi, coral, and Phellinus linteus in a mass ratio of 70:20:10 (e) mixing a poultry feed and the mixture in a weight ratio of 1000:1 to1000:20 and (f) supplying the mixed feed to poultry for 10~40day.
