Abstract

Rice cake capable of maintaining softness and preservability for a long time using herbal is provided to prevent moisture flowed out from the rice cake by adding herbal extract to rice cake material. Rice is pulverized to 60 ~ 90 mesh after dipping the rice in the water of 20 C for 30 hours. The rice powder 40 weight% ~ 85 weight% having the moisture content of 35% ~ 37%, the corn starch 5 weight% ~ 30 weight%, stabilizer 1 weight% ~ 5 amount %, and the refined salt 1 weight% ~ 5 weight% and herbal extract 8 weight% ~ 20 weight% are mixed and agitated for 2-3 minutes. The mixture is heated up in 110 ~ 120 C for 3 ~ 6 minutes. The herbal extract is one selected between the green tea extract to the extract liquid of pine needle and Acanthopanax senticosus, Hovenia dulcis, Platycodi Radix, Cnidii Rhizoma, ginseng, Phellinus linteus extract.
